As previewed some days back, San Francisco-based Black Scale recently launched a special edition run of t-shirts exclusive to retailer Karmaloop. Garnering much success since their debut a few seasons ago, Black Scale continues a push for supremacy amongst the streetwear elite. The collection will feature mainly black and white prints on various color choices, while implementing their new letter logo on the sleeves.

Shofolk Spring/Summer 2009 Footwear

January 29, 2009

We previewed this collection way too long ago and it’s deserving of another look. The Shofolk Spring/Summer 2009 Footwear collection has come some way since it’s birth back in 2004. “The shoes are handmade in Portugal from leathers sourced in Italy and each style has limited production runs to maintain their exclusivity. For spring summer 2009 the mens collection continues to provide a range of styles that have a look of their own and have been complemented by a diversity of leathers and finishes that has created a rich mix of colours and textures.”

January 29, 2009

The French record label/label Kitsune drops a great jacket for the Spring/Summer 2009 seasons. The jacket, designed by Masaya Kuroki and Gildas Loaec, is striped blue and white and features that sly fox over the heart. Available now from Colette. Paris matters.

January 29, 2009

The Diet Butcher classic back. The Slim Skin sneakers returns in a patent leather finish and usual oversized fit. For those not familiar with the Slim Skins, no size runs true as they’re meant to be worn big. Set them up with your favorite jeans for a slim or baggy look.

Jil Sander Spring/Summer 2009 Shoes

January 29, 2009

Jil Sander recently released their SS09 footwear and they look to play with classic shoe styles. One pair of classic dress shoes are available in taupe and are extremely bendable, making them more comfortable than rigid shoes. The other are a pair of wedge-like two tones that are available in light grey/off white and light grey/navy blue.

Liberty of London Pocket Squares

January 29, 2009

Now that blazers are becoming popular, we’re seeing the rise of pocket squares in street shots. This Sartorialist inspired trend is creeping into the mainstream, but finding pocket squares is still quite a difficult task. These Liberty of London pocket squares are perfect for any man looking to step his sartorial game up.

Heschung For Comme Des Garcons

January 29, 2009

French shoe manufacturer Heschung has produced two pairs of leather shoes for the Comme Des Garcons Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The set includes a black/brown leather shoe and a black wingtip shoe. Surprisingly the shoes do not feature leather soles and the soles also look rather thick. At first they look interesting, the thick sole put us off a little, but in the end you just have to check them out live in order to know what the deal is.

Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry Vintage Limited & Jubilee Editions

January 29, 2009

Victorinox is celebrating 125 years of business in 2009. This of course calls for some special releases to celebrating such an achievement. They have produced two chronographs for their anniversary. The first is the Jubilee Edition shown above which will be available to the masses in normal quantities. A second “Limited Edition” model with a red face will be available in 125 pieces. I happen to really dig the look of the “Jubilee Edition” so you’ll need to hit the jump to see the other. Both are housed in a 44mm casing and are water resistant down to 100 meters.

Burberry Single Breasted Sateen Coat

January 29, 2009

Burberry’s Spring 2009 collection are starting to filter into their online store and as usual, their coats are their strongest feature. This single breasted coat has a sateen finish which gives it a sheen and doesn’t absorb rain. The colour is officially called ‘pewter’ but we’d just call it grey. As you’d expect for a Burberry trench, the price is a little steep, but they’re definitely worth the money.
