Filson tries out Activism

by

Filson’s classic briefcase is proudly “Made in the U.S.A.,” but the canvas for the brand’s upcoming collaborative bag isn’t: It’s Ugandan, sourced by the nonprofit Invisible Children. The idea comes from the collaborators, the Parton brothers of Apolis Activism, who have long been dedicated to sourcing materials from developing countries. The case will be available in a new, darker color and will feature the Partons’ trademark cross embroidery.
