Milan Vukmirovic for Trussardi 1911 Furniture

May 1, 2009 by

Another of our favourite magazines 10 Man turn us onto Trussardi 1911’s new furniture, which is designed by Milan Vukmirovic. It’s pretty rare to see the creative director to take on a hands-on with the home range but clearly Vukmirovic has an extremely clear vision for the brand’s identity. We don’t have prices yet, but we’d rest assured that they’re out of our price range.

May 1, 2009 by

Because you only really need a weekend, Want Les Essentiels De La Vie brings us maybe the best looking structured leather weekender (or as they refer to it – 72hour) bag. It’s finished with gold and silver zipper closures and can handle anything you stuff into it, really.

Prada Studs for Autumn/Winter 2009

May 1, 2009 by

The time has arrived. Prada previewed their Autumn/Winter 2009 collection recently, and we highlighted some some of the more traditional footwear looks. But we missed the stud arrays that Men.style is showing us. Check the studded details on shoes, boots, and shirts in these looks. Be careful when you hug your gentleman in this shirt.

Gaimo Lina Chukka Boot

May 1, 2009 by

The profile on this chukka from Gaimo Lina is a boxy one. The Spainish made shoe uses a sewn on sole made from jute – one of nature’s cheapest natural fibers according to Wikipedia. But that should not stop you from hitting up your proxy or hunting ‘em down domestic style.

May 1, 2009 by

The Trilby will never go out of style. Whether it’s rocked by Brit rockers or your girlfriend, the look of this hat’s curved shape remains a vital component in your hip lifestyle. Rep the K By Karl Lagerfeld Trilby and prepare for shine. Served with or without a cigarette.

Bill Amberg Medicine Briefcases

May 1, 2009 by

A nice re-interpretation of the classic Gladstone medicine bag from Bill Amberg. Available in black, brown, and tan, the medicine bags are wide bodied and made to house your paperwork, laptop, tongue depressors, morphine, and more. The classic briefcases are made from “made of English bridle leather and lined in calf suede” and available in three sizes.

Grenson ‘Oscar’ Suede Desert Boot

May 1, 2009 by

We do love suede shoes, but they’re not the best shoes for erratic weather. If you get caught in the rain with a pair on, you’re likely to ruin them – as this writer has learned first hand. Despite this, we still recommend these Grenson desert boots. The shade is somewhat out of the norm (as in it’s not dark brown or navy) and will mix perfectly with any number of trouser colours. Just remember to check there’s no clouds in the sky before you rock them.

Journal Standard Jersey Cardigan

May 1, 2009 by

Time for our obligatory ‘you can’t get this without the help of someone in Japan’ post. This Journal Standard is made from what seems to be the growing material of choice, Jersey. Material aside, we also like the fact that it has a collar that isn’t shawl (we still love shawl necks by the way, but we can’t have our wardrobe overrun by it) and the contrast piping.
